The starting of the series will be on Friday, May 6th, 2011 on the
topic of massive star formation taking place at ETH, Institute for
Astronomy, Wolfgang-Pauli-Str. 27, at 9:30 in HIT E 41.1. Further

Michiel Cottaar, currently doing his PhD in the group of Michael R. Meyer, won the price for the best Master Thesis 2009/2010 of the University of Utrecht. For further information please consult the following website.
- September 2, 2010:
Kevin Heng, Zwicky Fellow, was involved in a study of the evolution in time of the ejecta from SN 1987A as observed with the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope published in Science. The topic was also covered by Nature.

The Meyer Group Event 2010 gave us the opportunity to go for a hike on the Rigi. Later we took a train down to Viznau, then a boat to Lucerne where we had dinner, and later took a train back to Zurich. It was a memorable event that everybody enjoyed. Pictures

- May 12, 2010: Large massive rotating disk around isolated young stellar object. The findings will appear in the Astrophysical Journal, and can be previewed in the in Quanz et al. 2010 pre-print).
