PRETTY PICTURES OF PHOENIX-2

This section gives some examples of solar radio bursts, recorded with the PHOENIX-2 radio spectrometer.

New highlights

image Observation data: 1999/09/24 10:15:16: Some nice type III bursts.
image Observation data: 1998/10/13 11:56:10
image Observation data: 1998/10/13 11:56:30, detail of the larger event above.
image Observation data: 1998/09/11 16:00:00, some U-Bursts
image Observation data: 1998/09/23 06:53:00, Details of a larger event.

First Highlights

Already during the test phase of PHOENIX-2, some bursts were observed. Some of the data was not calibrated at the time of the occurrence, therefor the raw-data results are shown. The observations were performed with a hight spectral resolution (2000 channels, 1MHz frequency steps, 1 MHz bandwidth), but with low temporal resolution (1s per sweep). Enjoy it!
